Copper, copper alloy, pin
Copper alloy pin with a small biconical head. It has a ring collar and the long shank swells slightly towards the base. Copper-alloy pins were an important part of everyday dress, and may have been made in Saxon Lundenwic. This pin was found on excavations at the Royal Opera House by Covent Garden.
