Bottling machine, wine bottle capping machine
Bottle capping machine used in the Port of London Authority's Cutler Street Warehouses. After corks had been inserted into bottles of wine or port, the top of the bottle was inserted into the machine to seal it with a foil cap. The operator sat on the wooden seat activating the vacuum pump with the foot lever.
