Part of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 30, with ovolo, made in one of the potteries in South Gaul. It is in an early style. Decoration includes, saltires and medallions containing composite designs. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
