Trolley, meat truck
A meat truck from the West India docks in Tower Hamlets. Used for carrying meat carcases, this example may pre-date the late 1880s. It is branded with the intials LIDC, denoting the merger of the London and St Katherine, and East & West India dock companies in 1888 - but it is also branded WID for the original West India Dock Company.
