Pattern, pattern of shroud or chain plate - unpainted
Wooden pattern for casting a metal chain or shroud plate. The shrouds, were the ropes or wires of the standing rigging holding a yacht's mast up. These were attached to these plates, which were in turn screwed to the side of the hull. From the workshop of Davey & Co., ship chandlers, West India Dock Road, East London.
