Pattern, pattern for lockover handed fairlead
Wooden pattern for casting a lockover handed fairlead. Attached to the deck of the ship, a line could be fed through this to prevent snagging or damage to the deck; the horns enabled the rope to be looped over quickly to lock the line if necessary. From the workshop of Davey & Co., ships chandlers, West India Dock Road, East London.
