Bowl
Part of a decorated samian bowl, form Dragendorff 29 made in one of the potteries in South Gaul. The upper zone is decorated with panels with vertical arrowheads and animals, with continuous gadroons around carination, and animal figures and vertical arrowheads in lower zone. Samian ware is high-quality Roman tableware made in Gaul (modern-day France) and exported throughout the empire.
