Paintings, Prints & Drawings — C. 1860
Unknown man
Three quarter portrait of unidentified sitter. Although it was suggested it might be Frederick Pellatt, brother of 'Falcon Glassworks' Apsley Pellatt, this is unlikely. The work seems based on a photograph taken by Maull and Polyblank for the Literary and Scientific Portrait Club. The name of Frederick Pellatt does not feature on that list.
