Arms of James Maddox
A leaded glass window pane, painted with coat-of-arms of James Maddox and inscribed: 'James Maddox Parish Clerk of St Olives Jury London, and Master of this Company Anno Dom: 1684'. his pane is included within the window frame 25432, along with 25429a, 25428a and 25433a. .James Maddox was one of six Masters of the Parish Clerks' Company to be recognized in this way. The leaded windows of the old Parish Clerk's Hall at 24 Silver Street, Cripplegate were removed during the second world war to the crypt of St Mary le Bow for safe keeping, and were afterwards transferred to the Museum of London.
