St George and St Demetrios cameo
Amethyst cameo carved with two saints, Saint Demetrios and Saint George. The cameo is Byzantine and of 6th to 7th century date. The inscription of the saints' names is later and probably dates to the 9th century. Part of the Cheapside Hoard.
