Sapphire and opal earring
An earring or pendant of enamelled gold set with six small opals and three pale-blue foiled and faceted sapphires: the upper pair with triangular girdles combined to form a lozenge, and the third set as a kite-shaped drop. The reverse is enamelled black and white. Part of the Cheapside Hoard.
