A silver gilt cylindrical counter box lid. Contains a mixed set of 24 silver counters representing the sovereigns of England from William I to Charles I (with a counter of Charles II as Prince of Wales). The openwork design comprises a profile portrait bust of Charles I, profile to left, on the lid; foliate designs on the side and a profile portrait bust of Henrietta Maria on the base.
