Knife
Bone knife made from longitudinal slice through bovine, horse or red deer long bone, which has been cut close to the medulla cavity. The cancellous structure of the bone has been exposed at the end of the handle. The blade, of sabre-shape, has a pronounced 'hump' on the upper edge. The junction between the handle and blade is marked by two circumferential grooves at the shoulder. The handle of flattened oval section flares slightly towards the end. The knife has been well polished.
