Piercer
Bone piercer, longitudinal slice through a limb bone of a horse, bovine or red deer. Proximal articulation. metapodial? The shaft has been shaved down, exposing part of the cancellous structure of the bone near the proximal end on one side. The bone has been well polished and tapers to a point towards the the distal end. There is a round hole through the bone at the proximal end of the shaft which forms an eye.
