Bone, pinner's bone
Pinner's bone. Bovine metatarsal, left side, unfused [ie. less than 2 - 2 1/2 years old]. There are four facets in the proximal end of the shaft, with twenty three deep grooves cut in the longitudinal axis with a saw. there are file marks on every side. There is a massively enlarged hole at the proximal end.
