Puritan spoon
A pewter spoon of 'puritan' type with oval (regular ellipse) bowl (small area missing from lower edge), flattened stem which increases in width from the bowl to the tip; the end straight with a vertical nicks or notches on the upper face. There is a maker's mark in the bowl with the letters 'E' and 'H' in a lozenge.
