Puritan spoon
A tinned latten spoon of 'puritan' type with an oval (regular ellipse) bowl, flattened stem which increases in width from the bowl to the tip; the end straight with a vertical nick or notch on the upper face. There is a maker's mark in the bowl of three spoons flanked by the letters 'R' and 'R' in a beaded circle.
