Like many parts of London, Docklands was heavily impacted by both WWI and WWII, especially during the Blitz.
Join our Hosts this Remembrance Day to hear a variety of short talks.
Discover the origins of Remembrance Day, hear about the ultimate sacrifice made by so many British soldiers, incredible stories of those who lived and worked around the docks during this time, and take a moment to commemorate the end of World War I and II.
Important information
Talks will take place in various galleries at 11am, 1pm and 2pm. The talks are drop-in and the meeting point is 2nd floor foyer. Content will vary. Please speak to the visitor experience team on the day to find out more.
The museum is open every day 10am – 5pm.
