London Museum
We’re counting down – the new London Museum will open on 28 November 2026.
This is the culmination of a decade-long transformation of Smithfield’s historic General Market building.
You'll soon be able to see iconic objects and never-before-seen items, plus enjoy after-hours DJ sessions on Fridays and Saturdays. Look out for the live train line running past the galleries visible via a six-metre viewing window – a world museum first.
