Coming to our free galleries, or just grabbing a coffee? Here’s everything you need to know about visiting London Museum Docklands.
We're open 10am – 5pm every day and entry is free, with no need to book in advance.
We recommend giving yourself at least an hour for your visit. And please note that we start clearing the galleries 20 minutes before closing time.
Tube and DLR
West India Quay (DLR) – 3-min walk
Westferry (DLR) – 7-min walk
Canary Wharf (DLR, Jubilee, Elizabeth line) – 7-min walk
Bus
Buses 135, 277, D3, D7, D8, N277, N550 and SL4 all stop close to the museum
River Bus
Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, London's River Bus service, stops at Canary Wharf Pier – 8-min walk
Cars
Join the A1206 that leads to Ontario Way. Follow it to the left onto Hertsmere Road, where you will find a public car park. Use code LDMGuest2025 for 10% off short stay parking. Valid only when booking through the Saba app or website.
The museum entrance is on the quayside of the building, which is not accessible by car.
Coach
The coach drop-off point is directly behind the museum on Hertsmere Road, but please note that parking is not permitted. For details on nearby parking, use TfL’s coach parking map.
There are PlantLock planters outside our front entrance and a bicycle rack behind us on Hertsmere Road, by Cineworld. Please note that bicycles are left at visitors’ own risk.
