Jones's Riding School, Union Street, Whitechapel, 1786
Exterior of 'Jones's Riding School, Union Street, Whitechapel, 1786'. But sign on the wall of the school reads 'Sion Female G...ham School Est 1805'. Also known as Jones's Equestrian Amphitheatre. It shut down in April 1788 and the building became a chapel for the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion: the Sion (or Zion) Methodist Chapel that had its own school.
Union Street was renamed Adler Street in 1913.
