St. George's Catholic Church, St Georges Fields
This shows the view along the nave of St. George's Catholic Church designed by Pugin. It was built to serve the large Irish congregation in Southwark. When it was completed in 1848, St. George’s was made into a cathedral. There is currently a mass on Sundays in Spanish for the borough's Latin American population.
