'Near Wandsworth Common, the property of J. Anson Esq'. Exterior view of the house. Inscribed in pencil on verso: 'the name of the house not yet decided on - but it is supposed that it will be called 'Burtwood Hall'. NB in the parish of Wandsworth'. Signed and dated in pencil at bottom right. Hassell (?-1852) exhibited at the RA & BI and was noted for his landscapes and topographical views.
