Miniature sword
Model iron sword with a broken, crescentic bone hilt guard in situ. The sword appears to be of the spatha type, although the guard is disproportionately large. The guard has two incised lines around the lower edge and there is a circular patch at the top, presumably marking the location of the handgrip. The top of the sword is reminiscent of 'Pompeii'-type short swords.
