Tie hook, lorica segmentata tie hook
Copper-alloy tie hook from plate armour, lorica segmentata, with yellow patina. There is one small, domed rivet surviving in situ which might be original. The loop has been formed by folding over the sheet metal of the body. There is no trace of decoration.
