'The Pool, looking towards London Bridge'. A crowded mix of steam and sail boats on the river, with St Paul's in the background.
David Laing's Custom House erected 1814-17 and partly rebuilt by Smirke can be seen on the left. It appeared in London from the Thames 1840.
