Archaeological textile. Sleeve of brown knitted wool. Catalogue note by Lesley O'Connell Edwards: Shaped wool sleeve knitted in the round. Top and wrist edge both present – both with two rounds of reverse stocking stitch at the edge. The remainder of the sleeve is plain. Tension varies – average 3.5 – 3.8 stitches and 7 round per cm. Large scorch / burn mark on one side.
