Baby's bonnet in pale turquoise (blue) silk. Crown gathered evenly into fabric circle at back of head. Strip of self ruching frames face. Brim embroidered in toning silk, edged with self piping and narrow white linen crochet. Satin tape drawstring adjustable at centre back along bonnet bottom edge. Attached brim folded back flat against crown revealing ruching below. Ties attached at front corners. Lining of lightweight green silk tabby construction identical to crown. Interlined with thick white fabric (?cotton). Label: "Best & Co., Liliputian Bazaar/Made in France". Condition: faded, stained. Left tie torn and fraying.
