Robe, christening robe
Baby's christening robe in fine white cotton. Wide square neck. Bodice front in one section with frill each side outlining tapering centre front panel. Back bodice in one section each side of centre back opening, fastening with button and buttonhole and drawstrings. Frill at neck. Short sleeves in one section; Skirt in two widths gathered to waist. Centre front bodice panel and sleeves embroidered in white cotton worked mostly in satin stitch with a little openwork. Condition: good.
