Trimming, lace trimming
Catalogue note by Santina Levey. Bobbin lace, probably Antwerp. Straight lace; cloth and half-stitch work with a few simple fillings and linking bars. Rather fluid pattern of elongated, curving leaves and flower heads (repeat 10 cm.) Coarse lace, although well-design and made, intended for the cheaper end of the market. Condition: very worn with bad damage in some areas. Some old repairs and joins.
