Oval cardboard box fastened together with metal staples and covered with white paper. Paper label on lid printed in black ink with 'From J.F. CLAXON Hatter, Hosier, Glover AND Shirt Maker/111, High St., COLCHESTER.' and addressed by hand to 'Mr A. Wright/St Bromley/By Keeble.'. Box also contains paper bag printed in black ink with 'CLAXON/HATTER,/HOSIER/AND/SHIRT/MAKER,/111,/High Street,/COLCHESTER.'. Front of box split.
