Pair of epaulettes, part of the uniform of the Captain of the London Militia. Upper decorated with silver coloured metal and silver coloured metallic thread braid work in a design of oak leaves and acorns. Metal stud featuring crown, cross and the motto of the City of London “Domine dirige nos'. Tassels of coiled wire hanging from the edge of the epaulette. Underside of red leather and red silk, with brass metal clip to attach to clothing embossed 'RIGHT' and 'LEFT'.
