Skirt, dress skirt
This skirt is part of a dress that is included in Janet Arnold's 'Patterns of Fashion: Englishwomen's dresses and their construction c. 1860-1940' (pages 36-37). Arnold describes it as 'a dinner dress in ivory silk with satin stripes 3/8" wide, 1/16" apart. It is trimmed with ivory embroidered net and lace.'
