Label, printed label for raw silk
Label for raw silk made by Hasegawa in the Uzen province of Japan. The Uzen province no longer exists but used to form part of the Yamagata Prefecture, on the West coast of Japan. Hasegawa Corporation is still trading in silks today. Silk was imported into London through the East India Docks in Tower Hamlets.
