Journal of Commerce edition issued to publicise the arrival of three new ships for the Royal Mail Shipping Line - originally the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company. The ships were nicknamed 'The Three Graces' and were destined for the route between London and South America. The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company was founded by James MacQueen, with active support from the West India Committee to improve communication between London and the West Indies.
