Port & River — 1900-1950
Cask lever, cask wedge
One of several cask levers collected from the Royal Victoria Dock at Newham. These levers were used to prize open the head of a cask - though they were also used sometimes as a wedge to tilt heavier barrels from a standing position on the floor.
