Woman's brown straw (possibly woodchip) hat, shallow crown and wavy edge, un-trimmed. Good condition. Paper milliner's label attached to hat's brim, ' printed with space to write price, number and shape and text ' when ordering quote name in crown or shape number'. Label part completed with hat number ('1/11 / 1/4' ) and shape (B). Catalogue information from Veronica Main: This hat is untrimmed and in the state as supplied to the milliner. It still bears the manufacturer's label and paper inside the crown. The hand made plait is hand stitched to edge of crown top, the rest is machine stitched. Professionally made. Summer wear.
