Parasol
Small tilting top or Marquise parasol. White twill silk cover lined to edge with white silk. Ivory shaft and carved folding handle with acorn and foliage design. Carved ivory ferrule. Gilt fittings, whalebone ribs with gilt tips. Black silk tassels and cord attached to ferrule. Handstitched. Gilt hinge-cover marked: "Verdier". Condition: cover discoloured and apparently decorations have been removed.
