Parasol
Small carriage parasol with dark blue silk taffeta cover trimmed with Bedfordshire and Maltese lace and eged with blue and white silk fringe; lined with cream silk taffeta with pinked hem. Folding ivory handle with carved design and tip in shape of whippet's head; brass joint over elbow with filigree design. Marked with a patent date of '30 Dec 1850' with the name 'Stella Parasol'.
Belonged to Princess Victoria (later Empress Frederick).
