Boot, ankle boot
Woman's carriage/ankle/over boots. Evening wear (?). Black velvet with fur trim and black silk ribbons. Round toe. No heel. Shaped sole; sueded; inscribed 'J.K. Eales' (donor's mother). Turnshoe construction. Ankle high; front and back seams; front opening with 19 mm (W) black ribbon to tie, fur edged. Lined with red felted flannel and matching sock. Excellent condition for this type.
