Card says "worn by donor's grandmother at her wedding and inscribed on sole 'my wedding shoes' " (cannot find this). Frederick MackMain appears in Westminster Library Trade directories between 1847-1848 at 28 Gt Portland Street; he is not in the next directory in 1853.
