Boot, ankle boot
Woman's ankle boots (pair). Elastic sided white kid boots. Leather sole. Rounded toe. No heel. Shaped sole; iron red edge finish at waist, worn outdoors, sueded at waist, stamped 'DB' within a circle and '5' at toe [CIUP note 2020-11-17 - 'DB' in circle at waist, '5' not seen]. Turnshoe construction. Front, back and side seams machine sewn producing V shaped elastic gusset. White/brown welt in front seam, pasted to upper. Braid loop front and back to pull. Natural linen lining inscribed '5' over '278'. Substantial brown leather stiffener between upper and lining (visible therefore stitches broken); white kid side linings in vamp between upper and lining. Natural linen sock cut short at toe. Poor condition, front and back seams stitching split.
