The Draper Estate was designed in 1961-1966 by the LCC's Architects Department. From a series of photographs of tower block estates and social housing taken for Museum of London projects which resulted in the 'Capital Concerns' exhibitions in 1999 ('Tower Blocks:Love Them or Loath Them') and 2004 ('Whatever Happened To Council Housing').
