Badge, lapel clip
Gilt metal lapel clip in the form of two acorns on a background of oak leaves with a central 'A'. The Acorn Club was originally established to provide training in the methods and finances for London delegates of the Hearts of Oak Benefit Society, but its role was subsequently broadened. It was politically independent of the Society, and providede a forum for free speaking on the business of the Society.
