Limehouse Reach
This aquatint of Limehouse Reach shows a view of Millwall on the westward side of the Isle of Dogs. Here can clearly be seen the windmills from which the area took its name. In the foreground are two men fishing from a Peterboat. Behind them a 20 gun naval vessel and a cutter are heading down river, possibly from the nearby Royal Dockyard at Deptford.
