Greenwich Borough Council Housing Scheme, buy housing bonds to help this scheme
This poster was designed in 1922 for Greenwich Borough Council by Benson's advertising agency.
Following the Housing Act of 1919, the London County Council and other local borough councils began to sell housing bonds to the public to raise money for public housing schemes. This poster encourages potential investors to buy housing bonds for the proposed Hanging Wood Lane estate in Greenwich.
