Woman's barrette boot. Black glace kid leather with 12 buttons, above ankle high. Round, upcurved toe. Louis heel 5.4 cm (H); covered; top-piece has close row of nails at back. Slightly shaped sole; sueded; well worn outdoors. Welted construction (?). Galosh with side seams only; leg has bars to button centre front, and white stitched loop. Curvy top. Machine sewn. Natural linen lining, inscribed, 'M. Jones' and stamped 'L.Daniel/206 Regent St/London'. Top lined with pink (cerise silk), 5.1 cm (D). White kid sock; impression of three screws for heel; inscription '95' over 'g'.
