Flesh hook
Straight rod handle with continuous spiral twist, broken at one end; at the other, also broken, is one hooked prong. As this is made from a strip of iron separate from the main stem, it is likely that it was one of a pair, and the complete implement had three hooks, the third projecting directly from the main stem.
