Plaque
This plaque commemorates the charitable work of Mrs Kate Caplan, founder of the Ladies Society for Clothing Children. The 'Malbish Arumim' ('clothing the naked' in Hebrew) Society provided clothing for needy children who studied in the Talmud Torah school at the Great Synagogue on Brick Lane, Spitalfields.
