Photographic postcard showing the New Schools Pavilion at the South Bank Exhibition for the Festival of Britain, 1951. The displays in the pavilion highlighted some of the recent changes to the British education system. They also showed how new schools could be designed to be not only places for study but also for 'spiritual refreshment'.
